LISTSERV Choice Awards: The Mailys 2013 "Stockholm Pass" Sweepstakes

L-Soft (L-Soft Sweden AB, Rosenlundsgatan 52, 2tr, 118 63 Stockholm, Sweden) arranges an international award competition with a "Stockholm Pass" travel prize drawing as part of The Mailys competition. This special prize drawing celebrates the company's 20 years in business in 2014. The winner of the drawing has a chance to meet and have dinner with Eric Thomas, L-Soft's Founder and CEO, and the inventor of the first email list management software, LISTSERV^®, in Stockholm, Sweden, where L-Soft is headquartered.

The period to submit a nomination entry for the LISTSERV Choice Awards, The Mailys 2013, and to enter the drawing begins June 1, 2013, and ends December 31, 2013, at 6 p.m. Central European Time.

The drawing is open only to nominators who submit a new valid and complete nomination of an email list that runs on the LISTSERV^® software, the original email list technology, including LISTSERV Maestro and hosted solutions running on a LISTSERV platform. The nominations must be submitted in English directly by the person who nominates the list. If several nominators submit the same list, only the first nominator gets an entry in the drawing as determined by the time of the nomination entry. The nominator needs to be a subscriber, list owner, list moderator, editor, administrator or site maintainer of the nominated email list, in other words a user of LISTSERV.

The employees of L-Soft and the members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the drawing.

Void where prohibited by law and subject to all federal, state, local and national laws.

To enter the drawing, nominate an eligible list during the nomination period and follow the instructions to complete all required fields on the nomination form. Following successful submission of the form and selection of the option to enter the drawing, the first nominator of each list will receive an entry into the random drawing. The exception is that each nominator will only be considered once regardless of the number of different lists nominated.

The entries must meet the requirements of the LISTSERV Choice Awards and these drawing rules. Any entry not in compliance with the requirements will be disqualified.

L-Soft has the sole discretion to determine whether an email list nomination qualifies or disqualifies.

Several entries of the same list, automated or robotic entries will be disqualified from the drawing.

One winner will be selected in a random drawing in early 2014 from among all eligible nomination entries received during the drawing period. The random drawing will be conducted by L-Soft's LISTSERV Choice Awards jury, whose decision is final in all matters relating to the LISTSERV Choice Awards, The Mailys and the drawing. The winner will be published on L-Soft's website and on the LISTSERV Choice Awards, The Mailys, web page.

The prize is a a four-day trip for the winner to Stockholm, Sweden, in 2014 to meet Eric Thomas, L-Soft Founder and CEO, and the inventor of LISTSERV^®.

The trip includes a round-trip, economy class ticket from the major airport nearest the winner's home town to Stockholm, Sweden, and a three-night hotel stay in Stockholm with hotel breakfast included, one dinner with Eric Thomas and an evening out on Södermalm, the island in Stockholm where L-Soft Sweden's office is located.

The dates of the trip during 2014 will be chosen by mutual agreement. The travel must be completed during the calendar year of 2014.

In the event that the winner lives close to Stockholm, round-trip ground transportation travel will be provided instead.

The value of the prize may vary depending on the winner's residence, dates of travel and fares at the time of travel. L-Soft will determine the airline and hotel based on the availability of flights and hotel rooms at the agreed-upon time of the travel.

The prize is as-is and no cash substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, except at the sole discretion of L-Soft. L-Soft may consider transfer of the prize to the site administrator, list owner, editor, moderator or subscriber of the same list as nominated by the drawing winner, in agreement with the winner, should the winner be unable to travel to Stockholm.

All national, federal, state or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner, apart from airfare and three-night's hotel taxes, which are included in the prize.

L-Soft will contact the winner within 10 business days of the drawing with up to three attempts via the email address provided in the nomination. If L-Soft is unable to reach the winner during this timeframe, she or he will be disqualified and a new winner will be determined by random drawing.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in editorial requests relating to the prize, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed during the Stockholm stay. The winner will be required to execute a publicity release prior to departure. L-Soft will write a story of the visit in Stockholm in L-Soft's customer newsletter, LISTSERV at Work, and publish it on L-Soft's website. The photographs used will be a mutually agreed-upon and sufficient number of pictures for the articles L-Soft plans to publish.

Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the winner's name, entry and photographs for promotional purposes without further compensation.

The winner must possess valid travel documents (passport, visa, photo ID, if and as needed) and travel insurance in order to travel to Sweden. All visa and passport fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner. If the winner is unable to obtain a passport or visa, the prize will be awarded to the site administrator, list owner, editor, moderator or subscriber of the same list as nominated by the drawing winner or, if not possible, to the winner of a second random drawing.

Airline carriers' regulations and conditions apply. The winner must travel on the mutually agreed dates, specified and confirmed by L-Soft. The dates and times of departure and return are subject to availability and change.

No compensation, refund or credit for changes will be provided.

All additional expenses and costs related to the travel to and from airports and the stay in Sweden are the winner's sole responsibility.

The competition is only open to legal adults.

All causes of action arising out of or connected with the drawing shall be resolved individually. By entering into the drawing, the participant agrees to Swedish jurisdiction in Stockholm, in case of any disputes. Any and all claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred. In no event will entrant be entitled to receive attorneys' fees or other legal costs.

Any dispute as to the identity of the winner is based on the name and email address submitted at the time of the entry.

By entering a nomination, the nominator accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules.

L-Soft can withdraw or change the drawing rules at any time, with or without cause.
