LISTSERV Maestro Hardware Requirements
LISTSERV Maestro is an enterprise-class system that requires correct installation and proper hardware and infrastructure for effective use. L-Soft, therefore, recommends its professional installation service (which includes initial orientation) to assist you in using LISTSERV Maestro quickly and effectively from the start.
Requirements
In addition to the LISTSERV Maestro components provided by L-Soft, the following is required:
- A computer with a fixed connection to the Internet
- A static IP address assigned to the computer running LISTSERV Maestro
- A Fully Qualified Domain Name for the computer running LISTSERV Maestro (DNS A Record)
- User Database (An optional source of recipient data for email jobs)
- Web Server (The source of web content in email jobs)
- An SMTP-compliant mail server through which to send outgoing mail
Example Configurations
The various editions of LISTSERV Maestro will run on a wide variety of hardware options. The following configurations are examples to ensure good performance and are not minimum requirements. Processors and hardware should be adjusted up or down according to your specific needs and requirements. Normally, only one server machine is required up to and including LISTSERV Maestro Enterprise Edition. Contact L-Soft for any detailed infrastructure questions.
