LISTSERV provides virus protection in cooperation with F-Secure. Every message and attachment posted to a mailing list is scanned for viruses. If a virus is detected, the message is automatically rejected. F-Secure Anti-Virus is engineered for fast, automatic virus database updates and uses multiple scanning engines, providing LISTSERV lists with the best possible virus protection.
LISTSERV is the first and so far the only email list management software in the industry to provide email lists with virus protection. The integrated virus protection feature is available for Windows 7, 2008, Vista, 2003, XP and Linux (32-bit Intel). Other LISTSERV platforms can be protected through the Anti-Virus Station (AVS) service. All L-Soft hosting services are automatically protected.
