John Harlan,
VP of Computer Services

John Harlan joined L-Soft in 2000, having used LISTSERV since shortly after its original introduction in 1986, first as a prolific list owner (and founder of LSTOWN-L) and later as an institutional advocate and site administrator of LISTSERV in academe.

John's training is in political science and comparative religion, and he has nearly two decades of experience in academic computing and library services.

Ben Parker,
Chief Corporate Consultant

Ben Parker has worked with LISTSERV since 1992. In 1997, Ben joined L-Soft's tech staff, but with the growth of database-driven, customized email marketing, Ben has assumed the role of solution specialist. He is able to take a global look at customers' needs and subsequently make business recommendations, which he then follows through to ensure that the technical implementation is sound.

Ben has a 25-year background in business communication and media production. His degree is in Anthropology.

Michael Shannon,
Consultant

Michael Shannon has been working with L-Soft's products as a site administrator and list owner since early 2000. Based in Australia, he quickly recognised that this presented a unique perspective on providing services to customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Three years later he really works for L-Soft and lends his knowledge and expertise to help expand L-Soft offerings in this corner of the globe.

Michael's background is primarily in web development and related Internet technologies. In 1998 he studied for the Certificate IV in Microcomputer Technology at Spherion Training Institute in Australia.
