HDMail's setup wizard allows you to configure and test the system in a few easy steps. HDMail is optimized to work with LISTSERV and LISTSERV Maestro and can be easily integrated with these products. HDMail is also available as a rack-ready server appliance, which includes the hardware and software in a turn-key solution and comes pre-configured for your LISTSERV or LISTSERV Maestro server.
HDMail monitors all aspects of your email delivery and offers real-time reporting capabilities. The delivery dashboard provides a quick summary of delivery and performance information, showing the number of sent, delivered and failed messages as well as complaints and unsubscribes over a period of time.
HDMail can deliver more than 1 million outbound messages per hour per server, providing sustained high performance under the most demanding workloads.
Thanks to HDMail's bounce filter definitions, all failures are logged and analyzed, allowing you to gather unprecedented detail about delivery problems and their true causes.
Delivery failures are divided into five major categories:
- Blocks: Refusals by an ISP to deliver mail to recipients
- Hard Bounces: Messages returned to the sender as permanently undeliverable
- Soft Bounces: Messages that reach a recipient's mail server but are returned undelivered before reaching the recipient
- Technical: Messages that are undelivered because of technical issues, such as busy servers or network errors
- Unknown: Messages that are returned for undetermined reasons that can't be interpreted or categorized based on feedback from the receiving domain.
Each category is divided into numerous sub-categories. For instance, HDMail distinguishes between different types of hard and soft bounces as well as blocks caused by both external and internal blacklists, message content, excess traffic, security violations and other issues.
The failures can also be analyzed by domain, helping you determine which domains are having technical difficulties at a given time or which domains tend to block your messages and why. This knowledge allows you to resolve specific delivery problems and boost your deliverability.
HDMail knows how each ISP likes to receive incoming mail and allows you to adjust and optimize speed, connections, timeouts and routing options per domain, in accordance with each ISP's policies and preferences. HDMail's live updates keep your system current with these ever-changing domain policies.
HDMail monitors server and network performance in real time and allows you to quickly diagnose issues using the extensive system management tools.
